Who this is
This site, adnanbasra.com, is operated by Adnan Basra, a freelance web developer and SEO specialist based in Kuwait. For any privacy question, contact anbasra@gmail.com or WhatsApp.
What data is collected
Contact form. The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject, and message. Submitting it sends that information to Adnan's email inbox and also saves a backup copy to a private server log (contact-submissions.log) that is not accessible over the web. A hidden field is used to filter automated spam submissions before they reach the inbox or log — it is not used to track you.
Quote estimator. The quote estimator tool asks about project specifications (site type, page count, features, etc.) to calculate an estimate. This runs in your browser and does not submit any personal data unless you choose to follow up through the contact form afterward.
Theme preference. The light/dark mode toggle saves your choice in your browser's local storage so it's remembered on your next visit. This stays on your device only — it is never sent to this site's server or to any third party.
Server logs. Like virtually every website, the hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically logs standard technical data for every visit — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — for security and performance purposes. This is standard web-server behaviour, not something this site configures or actively reviews per visitor.
What this site does not do
No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts are loaded on this site. No cookies are set for tracking or advertising purposes. Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.
How your data is used
Contact form and quote-estimator follow-up submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry — to discuss your project, provide a quote, or answer your question. Nothing you submit is used for any other purpose.
How long data is kept
Contact form submissions are retained in the private server log and email inbox for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and maintain a record of past client communication, unless you request deletion sooner.
Your rights
You can ask, at any time, to see what information is held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email anbasra@gmail.com with your request and it will be handled directly — there's no automated process to route it through.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects or how it's used changes, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
